Since our inception in 2021, we have been steadfast in our commitment to bridging the digital divide in the hills of Darjeeling. Over the years, we have provided free computer education to ~600 children in rural and urban areas.

We are reaching out with a heartfelt plea that carries the potential to shape futures in the Darjeeling hills. After successfully piloting a winter boot camp, Garul and Chandrawati Dewan Foundation is launching a year-long program to teach animation and web development to 100 children in three schools we support.

 

Equipping the next generation with the skills they need to succeed! Acquiring animation and web development skills unlocks the door to a future characterized by technological excellence.

 

Conducted exclusively on Saturdays, our classes are strategically planned to avoid interference with the regular school week. The program’s grand finale features a contest, allowing children to exhibit the skills they’ve honed throughout the year.
